Bluepoint Games’ new project could be a remake of the game Bloodborne: At this year’s Game Awards, there was a lot of exciting news, like the release dates for Street Fighter 6, Death Stranding 2, Tekken 8, Diablo 4, and many other games.
The lack of information about the Bloodborne remaster or the patch proved disappointing to fans. However, Sony is on a roll with their remasters, and the vast majority of games have received 60FPS patches for the PlayStation 5; Sony still ignores the Bloodborne remaster with 4K/60FPS.
In any case, it looks like Bloodborne fans are in for a treat today. Bluepoint has given hints about their next PlayStation project after Bloodborne Remaster did well on the PlayStation 4.

The tweet shows that two of the gifts can be seen as references to Shadow of the Colossus and God of War: Ragnarok. No information about number four has been made public, but we’re holding out hope that it will be Bloodborne.
You may be aware of Bluepoint’s reputation for remakes and remasters, such as Shadow of the Colossus, Demon’s Souls, and the remastered God of War I and II (God of War Collection), God of War: Chains of Olympus, and Ghost of Sparta (Origins Collection). Thus, it appears like Bloodborne Remaster is the way to go.
There are rumors that Sony is hoarding Bloodborne in preparation for a remake, which makes some sense but does not improve the game’s current status.
PlayStation is dedicated to protecting fan favorites, so don’t be surprised if you hear some backlash about the company’s recent remasters/remakes. In the case of Bloodborne, alas, this is not the case.
Bluepoint Games’ Christmas card has given fans plenty of fodder for wildly speculative theories, but the teaser itself looks too wonderful to be true. We don’t know enough at this time to say whether or not the new Bluepoint project will be Bloodborne. A healthy dose of skepticism is warranted, though.
