Fallout 4 mod gives the Bethesda RPG a new look with HD textures: There are a variety of modifications for Fallout 4. Since its release in 2015, the RPG game’s community has been quite active, creating mods like Fallout: London and Fallout: Miami and other oddities like a Lego version of the game and a cardboard cutout of the game’s creator, Todd Howard.

However, this HD texture update could be the perfect mod for Fallout 4 if you’re looking for something straightforward yet effective. Fallout 4 HD Overhaul 2K, created by luxor8071, is a mod with a deceptively simple name. While this is not Luxor8071’s first texture revamp Fallout 4 mod, it is a considerably larger undertaking.
Thousands of objects in Fallout 4’s main game and add-ons have had their textures completely redone with “new and better HD textures” thanks to this latest update. Most of luxor8071’s other mods are included as well, with improved textures for clothing, monsters, weapons, armour, and more.
These are the types of mods that don’t seem all that exciting at first, but once you install them, it’s like you’re in a completely different game. Seeing all of Bethesda’s assets in even more detail is fantastic, as the post-apocalyptic nuclear retro-futuristic 50s setting of the Fallout universe is a big part of what makes it so unique.
After installing the Fallout 4 mod, you will be cautioned not to use Steam to check the integrity of the new ba2 file.
