Sonic Frontiers Unlock and Fast Travel: The long-awaited return of everyone’s favorite hedgehog has finally arrived. It’s time to explore new sonic territory! The reviews haven’t been as good as they are for tomorrow’s release of “God of War: Ragnarok,” but that hasn’t stopped fans from enjoying themselves.
In this new take on the Sonic idea, Blue Hedgehog is free to roam around a huge open world. In Sonic Frontiers, you can still use the quick travel unlock if you think Sonic is moving too slowly. Just like in any other open-world game, it’s crucial to give players the option to quickly move between zones. Even though you can have fun exploring the world with Sonic, we understand that it can get boring after a while. So, relax; we’ll show you how to activate quick travel right here.
About: Sonic Frontiers
Sonic Frontiers is the first game in the series to have an open world. You can explore it a lot, and it gives the series a much-needed breath of fresh air, since most 3D Sonic games have been average so far.
The game was made by Sonic Team and released by Sega. The main character, Sonic the Hedgehog, explores the mysterious Starfall Islands to find the Chaos Emeralds after falling into a wormhole and getting separated from his friends.
How to Unlock & Fast Travel in Sonic Frontiers?
Using the option to Switch Maps
After players finish the main campaign missions in an area, a cutscene sends them to the next area. Players can easily go back to the last area if they want to finish unfinished missions or get collectibles they missed the first time around.
To switch between zones, open the Map and click the “Switch Maps” button at the bottom left. Make sure you choose the right area to go back to it. Sonic will always be taken to the beginning of the region chosen on the Map.
Using scrolls to fast travel
In Sonic Frontiers, you can fast travel into a zone even if you haven’t done all the challenges, but it takes a bit more work.
Big the Cat’s fishing minigames are the key to getting fast travel this way in the game. There are purple cyberspace portals that lead to the mini-game, where Sonic has to fish quickly and accurately.
Sonic can get things like the Elder Koco’s scroll and the Hermit Koco’s scroll, among other things. These scrolls permanently give you the ability to fast travel to and upgrade NPCs in that zone. Sonic doesn’t run to the area; instead, he uses zip to get there.
Using the Challenge Rails
The many challenges in this action-adventure game affect how far you can go in the game. When you finish a challenge, a nearby white railing becomes available. These paths lead directly to similar paths from challenges that have already been done.
Sonic can speedrun on the railings to cover a lot of ground with very little control, which makes it a very good way to get around.
Using the cyberspace portals
In Sonic Frontiers, true fast travel can’t be used until all of the challenges in a zone have been finished. When you do this, cyberspace portals open up. When the player needs to, they can use the Map to send Sonic through the portal.

That’s all you need to know about how to quickly move around in Sonic Frontiers. It is very simple and will give you a lot of free time. Since the game is so big, moving around the map takes a long time. Even though Sonic is a pretty quick character, you’ll still spend most of your game time wandering around.
