Valorant New modifications and buffs to Cypher in the PBE

Valorant: New modifications and buffs to Cypher in the PBE: The dark and mysterious Moroccan information broker is finally getting a makeover. Fans liked Cypher because he had a weird sense of humour and interesting voice lines. Riot should have shown him some love.

Riot has been nerfing the Sentinels over and over again, but it looks like the latest Valorant patches will change this.

Cypher, the sentinel who shows up the least, is finally getting a buff. His trapwire is getting longer, so players will be able to use it in bigger rooms (Maximum Trapwire length increased from 1000 to 1500). Also, teammates’ AOE abilities can no longer destroy the Trapwire.

The second boost has to do with his Ultimate skill. Now, Neural Theft will show the enemies twice instead of just once, and there will be a four-second gap between the two times.

Neural Theft no longer has a time limit, so Cypher can now use it on any enemy body at any time. Also, the maximum cast distance has been raised from 1200 to 1800 (finally, you don’t have to be on top of a body to scan it).

As a final QoL change, the yellow silhouettes of enemies that have been scanned have also been changed. It will glow a little less brightly and fade faster, making it easier to tell apart from an enemy. On top of that, the yellow silhouette goes away when the player sees an enemy.
